The Fresh Start Youth Connect Program is a pilot project designed to assist youth in making a successful transition into the labour force. This program is funded by Skills PEI and sponsored by the East Prince Youth Development Centre. Throughout the year, 60 participants (12 participants per intake) will be selected to participate in the program. The programs life skills curriculum is designed to guide participants in gaining the thinking techniques, skills and tools needed to make meaningful changes in their lives. In addition, a portion of the program involves developing job readiness skills and knowledge required to independently find and maintain employment.
