Customer Assistance Service Training

This program will target clientele who will be trained to work in the Tourism industry. CUSTOMER SERVICE training will be high priority in this program.

 

Along with offering training to participants we will be filling a need within the Tourism sector. And that is trained, ready to work individuals.

 

This will be achieved by offering (2 intakes) of 5 weeks group-based training along with numerous tours of tourism related businesses, guest speakers/employers, and hands-on training at Summerside Waterfront Café and Training Centre as well as tours throughout Central and West Prince PEI and certifications in:

  • First Aid

  • CPR

  • WHMIS

  • Food handling

  • PEI Best Service Excellence

  • Responsible Beverage

 

 Our CAST program  focus on customer service in these categories:

  • Lodging

  • Food Service

  • Tour guides

  • Retail shops

  • Parks

  • Attractions

  • Other Tourism related businesses.
